Stormur is very big and good looking gelding. You can´t find many bigger Icelandic horses than him, he is 150 cm stock mass!!
But he is more than just big. He is very light to ride, selfcarring and light on reins. His tölt is very easy to ride with hight movements and good rhythm and speedrange. He trots with high movements as well. His pace has not been trained, but it sure is there as you see on the video!
Stormur does like to please the rider and it is very easy to relax him when you want.
This video is taken after 2 month in winter training. Stormur came to us in beginning of November and had been in one year brake after his ground training, so you see that Stormur will have lot more to give with more training.
Stormur is safe to ride for all kind of riders. He is easy to handle and easy to get from the pasture.
We think that Stormur can become good competition horse in 5-gait and T2 and he can just be a perfect pleasure riding horse for one who wants good quality under his saddle.
